Becoming a Member

We would like to welcome you to Destiny's Place Ministries. We want you to know that your decision to shake the right hand of fellowship with Jesus, is probably to most important step in your journey with the Lord.

Know that having a covering is important. Please understand that Jesus says, "Come as you are," and He knows that none of us may be perfect.

It is our job as your Pastor to help you gain knowledge and insight to enhance your walk with the Lord. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. Proverbs 4:7 (NLT)

Please understand that we take our commitment to God and to you with all sincerity.

Understand that we are not here to judge you, or mistreat you. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable. Hebrews 4:13 (NLT) We know that in serving you we are serving God.

Now as a member of Destiny's Place Ministries, you are being committed to God first, and committed to the physical building second.

In being committed to God, you understand that you must give Him your one tenth; not in just your tithes, but also in your time and your talents.

We encourage you to be a disciple and witness every chance you get. Discover your gifts and turn them into a ministry for the LORD.

Understand that as your Pastors we are committed to developing you into being a disciple and tapping in to your hidden treasure, the very power of God that lies within. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT)

Be an intercessor and pray for your Shepherd without ceasing.
