About Destiny's Place Ministries

Destiny's Place Ministries began, as a vision given to Rev. P. Matthew Mitchell in November 2002, however, that was not the appointed time for the vision to manifest. After many years of laboring in the gospel, in 2005 the Holy Spirit released Rev. Mitchell to set in motion the plans for Destiny's Place Ministries.

On April 13, 2005, Rev. Mitchell began holding bible study in his home. The bible study began a series of lessons over the Fruits of the Spirit. After inquiries from bible study attendees about having church services, July 17, 2005, became the day in history that marks the official inception of Destiny's Place Ministries. The first church service was held in the home of Pastor and First Lady Mitchell.

Since July 2005, Destiny's Place Ministries has continued to follow the vision and implement many programs within our church and community under the leadership of Rev. Mitchell. As the Body of Christ, our family has embraced our motto, "Serving the People of GOD" with enthusiasm to reach beyond the four walls. We believe in and actively support working within our local community to make the difference in the lives of God's people. Some of our Community Outreach programs include:

*Weekly visits to Frisco Area Senior-Living Facilities
*Hurricanes Katrina and Rita Outreach in Mississippi
*School Supply Donations to Area Youth
*Toy Drives
*Holiday Food Baskets
*Holiday Family Sponsorships

Whether you are in need of prayer, healing, deliverance, or just a listening ear, we are here for you. Under the vision of our Pastor, we believe that "lives once encountered by us shall not be the same as we labor to transform and transcend the lives of the people of GOD."
